Posh PlayTown – Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: August 15 2024

Welcome to Posh PlayTown. By booking our rentals, you (“Client,” “Renter,” or “Customer”) agree to the following Terms & Conditions. Please read carefully before confirming your reservation.

1. Bookings & Payments

• A 50% non-refundable deposit is required at the time of booking to secure your event date and scheduled rental time.

• The remaining balance is due 3 days before your event date.

• Bookings are not confirmed until deposit payment is received.

• A refundable security deposit may be required and will be returned within 3–5 business days after pickup, provided all items are in good condition.

2. Cancellations & Rescheduling

• Deposits are non-refundable.

• Cancellations made at least 7 days in advance may apply the deposit as credit toward a future event (valid for 12 months).

• Cancellations made within 7 days of the event will forfeit the full deposit.

• Rescheduling requests must be submitted in writing and are subject to availability.

3. Delivery & Setup

• Standard delivery covers 0–9 miles from our base location. Additional fees apply for long distance delivery (10+ miles).

• Setup requires a flat, clean, dry surface such as turf, concrete, or indoor flooring.

• We do not set up on dirt, gravel, mud, wet grass, bark, sand, or uneven ground.

• Client must ensure a clear pathway for delivery (minimum 3 ft wide). Fees may apply for excessive stairs, elevators, or difficult access.

• Delivery and pickup times will be confirmed in advance. Additional fees may apply if access is delayed.

4. Weather Policy

• Rentals may not be set up outdoors in rain or winds exceeding 15 mph.

• Client must provide an indoor backup plan for inclement weather.

• If weather prevents setup, deposits may be transferred to a future date within 12 months.

• Once equipment is set up and/or the event begins, no refunds will be issued for weather-related disruptions.

5. Rules of Play & Responsibilities

By booking with Posh PlayTown, the Client agrees to enforce the following rules during the event:

• All children must be supervised by an adult (18+) at all times.

• Play area is designed for children ages 5 and under only.

• Socks must be worn at all times; no shoes, sneakers, heels, sandals, or flip flops allowed.

• No food, drinks, gum, candy, or sticky items inside or near the play area.

• No face paint, temporary tattoos, slime, silly string, markers, glitter, confetti, streamers, or other damaging substances.

• No pets in or around the play area.

• No sharp objects allowed (glasses, pens, pencils, jewelry, keys, knives, etc.).

• No flips, pushing, shoving, wrestling, or rough play.

• Do not climb, pull, or sit on gates or fences.

• Do not dismantle or move equipment.

• No BBQs, fire pits, or smoking within 50 ft of equipment.

• Respect all posted capacity and weight limits for play areas and bounce houses.

• Individuals who are pregnant or have physical injuries should not enter the play area.

• In case of sudden bad weather, all children must safely exit the play area.

• Any incidents or damages must be reported immediately to Posh PlayTown staff.

• Play at your own risk.

6. Cleaning & Damages

• Equipment must be returned in the same condition it was delivered.

• A cleaning fee will apply if equipment is returned excessively dirty.

• Client is responsible for repair or replacement costs if equipment is damaged, lost, or stolen during the rental period.

• Security deposit will be forfeited if equipment is returned damaged or with missing pieces.

7. Liability

• Client assumes full responsibility for all guests using the play equipment.

• Posh PlayTown is not liable for injuries, accidents, or property damage resulting from misuse, lack of supervision, or violation of rules.

• By booking, Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Posh PlayTown, its owners, and staff from any claims or damages arising from the rental.

8. Custom Orders & Add-Ons

• Custom vinyl decals, balloon garlands, and accessory orders require a 1–2 week preorder.

• Fully custom “Town Packages” require 4–6 weeks’ notice and include a design consultation and mockup.

• Custom fees are non-refundable once production begins.

9. Agreement

By booking a rental with Posh PlayTown, the Client acknowledges they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
